Discovered in 1503, the Fernando de Noronha archipelago is one of the great ecotourism destinations and the best diving destination in Brazil. 340 km from the coast, its 21 islands and islets have been home to the National Marine Park since 1988 where everything is controlled to preserve its valuable environment.

Thanks to an ocean current from Africa, the archipelago's waters are warm (27º C) and practically free of sediments, so its more than 24 dive sites have exceptional visibility conditions throughout the year. On land, deserted and paradisiacal beaches are enough to seduce any visitor, but it is at sea where the archipelago reserves the best: exuberant marine fauna, imposing rock formations, multicolored corals and the best shipwreck in Brazil.
